About Our Area

The Northwestern part of the state has been called the Lakeland District. Geographically it is distinguished by large glacial lakes such as Green Pond. Two of the largest fresh water bodies in the state, Lake Hopatcong (Morris County) and Greewood Lake (Passaic County) which extends into New York State are in this region. Some communities such as Jefferson, West Milford, Franklin Lakes, Denville, Kinnelon, and Wayne have numerous Lake Communities, which offer a year round recreational life style in a wide range of prices.

Kinnelon -Smoke Rise, Mandatory membership mid $300's to $2 million + , two lakes, a beach, sailboats, fishing, an Inn for dining, and riding are available. Approximately 840 families live in a multi-thousand acre area Gatehouse secure community. All homes are on wooded 1 acre or larger parcels.

Fayson Lakes - Low $100's to upper $300's. 3 lakes, tennis, clubhouse

Denville Indian Lake - 1300 plus families in a community with lakes for water skiing, tennis, playground, ball fields and a clubhouse. Most homes from the mid $100's to mid $300's. Near routes 46, 80, 10 and the vibrant center of town.

Wayne - Best known areas are:

1. Packanack Lake - With its optional golf membership and great tennis facility. Homes range from the low $200's and up. The New York City bus leaves right from the center of the community.
   
2. Pines Lakes - With a diverse spectrum of homes from converted logs to million dollar lakefront estates. Both of these areas are close to all to shopping and Wayne's fine
   schools
   
3. Lion's head Lake - Nice lake, great location. Most homes from to $100's to upper $200's.
   
4. Franklin Lakes - Known throughout Bergen County for its pastoral serenity; Many homes on a manicured acre and the Urban Club recreational facility which is optional.
   
5. Montville - Morris County Lake Valhalla with the possibility of joining the Lake Valhalla Club. Tennis, clubhouse with a gorgeous setting on the lake and an established community of homes on wooded properties. Diverse architecture maximizes the variety of the terrain.
   
6. West Milford -Passaic County. Abounds with opportunities for Lake Community living. Four of the best known are:
   • Pinecliff, Greenwood -one of NJ largest lakes.,
   • Kitchell, and High Crest. Pine Cliffs with its lake surrounded by mountain vistas and tennis facilities, and it's center of town location; Kitchell Lake - a small jewel with a smaller, rather intimate setting;
   • High Crest Lake - A hidden treasure just minutes off Route 23. Another pocket paradise with the mammoth Greenwood Lake communities with their renowned fishing and water sports. My area offers cottages, castles and everything in between.

There are townhouses, "condo flats" both new and converted garden apt units. There are friendly suburban developments on small or larger parcels, homeowner association communities, hobby farms, mini-estates, properties with distinct architecture, center of town lifestyles, semi-rural and urban lifestyles. We offer it all with easy access to Mountain or Ocean recreation, a vibrant cultural life and some of the most outstanding school districts in the Nation.
